Showing Operator Summary Notes

This section describes how to enter and review operator summary notes on Analog, Status Point, and Count records.

Enter/View Operator Summary Notes from a Substation Tabular

This action tells how to enter and view operator summary notes from the Substation Tabular display:

On the Substation Tabular display, the Point/Analog/Count view, select the Data Quality icon for a selected Analog, Count, or Point record.

The Data Quality Details pop-up appears.

The entry box showing the operator summary information is displayed at the bottom of the pop-up. New information can be added, and old summary information can be removed or modified.

Enter/View Operator Summary Notes from an Exception List

This procedure describes how to enter and view operator summary notes from the Exception List or Summary List displays:

1. Call up the Exception List display or any of the Summary List displays.

Locate the entry that is associated with the Analog, Count, or Point of interest. Click the Show button.

The Show button is replaced with a button titled “Hide” and an additional text line appears. If operator summary notes have previously been entered, that information is shown. When the record is marked as “SHOW”, this additional text shows up on all of the exception lists and summary lists on which this record is displayed.

New summary text can be added, and old summary text can be deleted or replaced.

Click the Hide button.

The Hide button is replaced with a button titled “Show” and the additional text line is no longer visible.
