Resetting Analog Peak Data Information

Peak data is available as a separate view from the Substation Tabular display. The peak data information can be reset for analogs that are configured to support peak data. Peak data information can also be reset on a system-wide basis.

Resetting All Peaks

This procedure describes how to reset peak data information for all analog measurements in the system in a single request:

  1. On the Substation Tabular display, the Point/Analog/Count view, click the Peak Data button.

The Peak Data Substation Tabular display appears.

Click the Reset All Peaks button.

A pop-up message appears with the text “Are you sure?”

If you decide not to reset all peak data information, click the Cancel button.

To go ahead and reset the peak data information, click the Continue button.

If you have permission to do so, the peak data information for all analogs that are configured to support Peak Data is set at the current time and value.

Resetting Peaks for a Single Analog

This procedure describes how to reset peak data information for an individual analog measurement:

  1. On the Substation Tabular display, the Point/Analog/Count view, click the Peak Data button.

The Peak Data Substation Tabular display appears.

Locate the analog record for which the peak data information should be reset.

Click the Reset Peak button.

If you have permission to do so, the peak data high and low values for the selected analog are reset to the current value, and the Time of Low Peak and Time of High Peak are reset to the current time.
